No. Kaascan was designed for a phoneless environment. Students only need their student card and thier secret PIN to access funds, check balances, and make transactions.
Yes. Every transaction on Kaascan is encrypted and verified in real time. We also provide parents with full transparency to track every transaction made by their child.
Using the Kaascan mobile application, a parent or other student supporter can add a student by pressing the add icon and then searching for their student. If the student is enrolled in a partnered school, they will appear in the students list.
After adding the student, the parent or supporter can deposit funds into the student's account, allowing the student to access the money using their card.
Students can use their Kaascan cards everywhere a service provider can access a phone, including canteens, bookstores, school shops, hospitals, supermarkets and so on.
Schools can join by contacting our partnership team at info@kaascan.com. Once contacted, we'll reach out to school, conduct student registration into Kaascan system, then we’ll generate and provide the cards.
After that, school school will be on a list of partnered schools. Parents who has students at that school will be able to find and add their students.
